On 23–24 May 2025, TerraMed participated in the Tirana Aesthetic Surgery Congress, a prestigious scientific event organised at Marriott Hotel Tirana under the leadership of Dr. Rezarta Kapaj, bringing together renowned local and international professionals in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. The congress served as an important platform for knowledge exchange, innovation showcasing, and discussion of the latest developments in modern aesthetic surgery. Over two days, participants attended scientific sessions, clinical presentations, and discussions on the most advanced techniques and technologies in the field. As part of this event, TerraMed presented its portfolio in the aesthetic and reconstructive surgery space, with a focus on the innovative solutions of POLYTECH Health & Aesthetics for breast and body implants. The interest shown by professionals created valuable opportunities for experience sharing and discussions on the latest trends in aesthetics and reconstruction. Participation in the Tirana Aesthetic Surgery Congress 2025 reflects TerraMed's ongoing commitment to supporting medical education, collaboration with the scientific community, and bringing innovative solutions to Albania. Participation in the Rheumatology Conference 22.05.2026

TerraMed participated in the National Rheumatology Conference, a scientific event that brought together rheumatologists and healthcare professionals from across the country to discuss the latest developments in the management of rheumatological diseases. At the conference, TerraMed presented Sondelbay (teriparatide), an osteoanabolic therapy indicated for the treatment of osteoporosis in patients at high risk of fractures. Teriparatide stimulates new bone formation and represents a different therapeutic approach alongside traditional antiresorptive treatments. The presentation attracted significant interest from specialists in the field, particularly in the context of managing patients with osteoporosis. Participation in this event reflects TerraMed's commitment to bringing modern, evidence-based therapies to Albania, oriented towards improving patient care.

First Use of B-Lite Technology in Albania

On 08.09.2025, the first implant using B-Lite technology was placed in Albania, introducing this innovative solution in the field of aesthetic surgery to the country for the first time. B-Lite implants are characterised by their unique technology, which enables greater volume with less weight, offering an advanced alternative for patients and professionals. This moment represents an important step in expanding access to modern aesthetic surgery technologies in Albania. We thank Dr. Gazmend Mustafa for his collaboration and support in realising the first B-Lite case in the country.
